The Wilfred Owen Choir @ Royal Visit
The Wilfred Owen choir performed in Hamilton Square for the royal visit of Harry and Megan on 14th January. They came to officially unveil the new sculpture to mark the 100th anniversary of the World War I poet’s death. It was pretty cold but the singing kept us all warm!
We sang on the corner of Hamilton Square, opposite the statue and performed two war medleys, Golden Slumbers by the Beatles and Open Arms by Elbow.
