Hot off the press arrangements

As well as having adapted a lot of my arrangements recently in order to make more available for mixed voice choirs that I work with, I am currently writing out some new arrangements. So far I have completed the following and they are hot off the press…

Budapest (George Ezra)
Take Me To Church (Hozier)

In other news, the Birkenhead Gangshow is about to go live this week so that’s how I’m spending half term week. This comes hot off the heels of a fantastic tour of Cambridge with musicians, singers and sportswomen from our Year 5 and Year 6 at Birkenhead High School Academy. The girls performed excellently and did the school proud – they performed one of my new arrangements, ‘Budapest’ along with a number of other pieces.

Meanwhile, I am currently in talks with ‘Sing Up’ about a commission to write a resource for them ready for their transition to secondary school music which they are launching in September. I’m also transcribing music for a new musical by Starlight Youth Theatre directors, Andy and Jackie Miles.

All this on top of a top secret project that I’m musically directing..
