Sgt Pepper At 50

The Luminelles had the pleasure of performing at the start of the launch of Sgt Pepper At 50 on Thursday 1st June. We sang ‘Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band’ segued into ‘With A Little Help From My Friends’ while stood next to the statue of Ken Dodd at Liverpool Lime Street Station as a large group of journalists arrived to cover the event.

The festival is organised by Culture Liverpool (@CultureLpool) and there are plenty more fantastic events happening over the course of the next few weeks. Click HERE to visit the official website for the festival.

As well as the Luminelles, we also had a few special guests from Over The Water in amongst the group. We were also very lucky to have Chris Watson (in a very special shirt) accompanying on guitar!

Thanks to Jennifer John for commissioning us for the work.
